Level Set is one of effective method to treat multicomponent fluid problems, Level set method using the Level Set function to keep track of the interface motion, automatically handles the interface that undergoes topological changes. The brief method has another advantage of handling the large deformation problems easily. Ghost Fluid Method using Level Set function separates the one fluid field contains two fluids, each field which consists of real field and ghost field can be calculated. Then the method successfully avoids the problem that different fluids with different equations of state. Based on the result of approximate Riemann problem, the parameters of ghost points can be defined reasonable ,which is more prefer to handle the problems of strong shock on interfaces and shock on gas-water interfaces.In this thesis, the focal points is how to combine level set method and modified ghost method with HLLC to develop codes that can treat with the problems of compressible multi-materials. The codes are named HGML2D. We do some simulations of strong shock on interfaces and shock on gas-water interfaces using the codes of HMGL2D. With the help of a large number of numerical simulations of 1-d and 2-d cases, the validity and practical of HMGL2D can be verified .the results show that HMGL2D do well in gas-gas and gas-liquid problems. So it has a promising future in further study of underwater launching.
