The change of structure and rheological properties in a dispersing system of solid-liquid under an external electric field is callded electrorheological effect. Electrorheological fluids(ERF) is a composite suspension of polarizable solid particles dispersed in an unpolarizable continuous medim.ERF has attractive features of rapid(with ms order),reversible and dramatic changes in rheologic properties upon applied electric field. Electrorheological fluids is one of research hotspots and science forelands now. Based on the principle of tbe ERF, the key problems of the interaction force and electric field with the particle are studied in the paper respectively. The elementary research for the further study on discharges in electrorheological effect was made.A displaced diopole to calculate the two particles interaction force is present. A formula to calculate the neighor-pair attractive force is proposed. The results of attractive force of using displaced dipole method are compared with those obtained from the dipole method and finite-element analysis method,and it revealed that the displaced dipole model is better than the classic diploe model and interactive dipole model in calculating particles attractive force in elcetrorheological fluids. The low precision analytical with analytical calculation was solved of the two particles.Finally, the displaced dipole with three particles is present, the local electric fields is bigger exterior electric field was found with finite-element analysis method and displaced dipole model.The available extension of the displaced dipole is discussed. The results reveal that the displaced dipole model has good approximations in calculation of the the electric field among the particles in some extension and that the model is simple and credible, which resolves the low precision of the analytical calculation and the difficult convergence of the multipolar model. A new method with calculation three particles interacton force is present. Three particles interaction force is low the two paticles interaction force in the same condition. The particles interaction force in the early may low the later in the formation th particles chains.It could be theoretical instruction of the electrorheological effect in the practical application.
