Manufacturing Execution System(MES)is the bridge between enterprise planning level and control level of the workshop, Which is responsible for the production management and scheduling execution. However, the research work is basically limited in stage of latency nowadays. The production mode of most manufacturing enterprises is turning to single unit job lot production along with the intense competition of the market, so the Job Shop Scheduling Problem of MES for single unit job lot production has become a typical scheduling problem.Based on the 863 project, our project team investigated in JAC and JMC and made a research on the theory of MES and JSP. Aiming at the Job-Shop Scheduling Problem of MES for single unit job lot production, we made a research on the heuristic algorithm and paid more attention on the theory and method of JSP, and application in the single unit job lot production enterprise.So far, the familiar JSP model that the researchers are currently studying the issue of the activation and often abstract the Job-Shop Scheduling problem obviously doesn't apply to specific enterprises. According to the characteristic and requirement for MES of the single unit job lot production enterprise, the problem investigated in this paper is an extension of the classical job shop scheduling problem that relaxes the restriction of resource and this article offers a heuristic algorithm based on combination rules. This can solve the problem that operations of different parts compete for one machine and an operation of a part has more than one usable machine.Finally, with the analysis of the system and modeling, the system which will be applied in single unit job lot production enterprise such as mold manufacture was developed. This project can solve the problem of the process interference, dynamic and indeterminacy of the workshop by the real time dynamic scheduling. And it has some theory value and a positive effect to the wild use of MES.
