The geological structures in the Panjin municipal area of China are dominated by a series of faults, complex folds, and steeply dipping formations with significant lateral velocity variations. Seismic data acquired here are much artificial noise associated with multiples. In addition, the irregular shot and geophone locations made the footprint problem worse. The prestack Kirchhoff time migration is an essential tool for understanding such complicated structures and solving these challenging problems. another key point is to build a good RMS velocity model that are structurally consistent. In this paper, the data migrated and the common imaging gathers (CIG) on the recorded surface outputed by using Sun and Martinez's (2001) optimized 6th order travel-time equation for pre-stack time migration, apply our workflow to the Panjin municipal area data and demonstrate that it improves the imaging quality and velocity model. In the south mountainous areas of China, carefully preprocessing of ear-surface seismic data and static corrections are essential for obtaining a high-resolution imaging. In addition, irregular topography distorts the seismic data. For large topographic changes when near surface velocities are comparable to subsurface velocities, static-corrections are inadequate. Migration from topography is required in these situations. In this paper, perform the Kirchhoff prestack time migration from topography (TOPO_KPSTM). Using the ray bending method and it has the amplitude preserving character. Migration from topography produces enhanced images of steep shallow reflectors when compared to conventional processing by migrating data from the datum.Improved the imaging quality and obtain a better RMS velocity model by migrating the seismic data in the liaoning panjin region and mountainous region of China...
