This dissertation consists of four chapters.In chapter I1 we summarise the known numerical methods for solving the partial differential equations(PDE),radial basis functions, Multiquadric qusi-interpolations and Burgers'-Fisher equations.Chapter 2 includes the preliminary knowledge.In this chapter,we introduce the theory of the radial basis function.In addition to this.we summarise the knowledges of the know four kinds of multiquadric quasi-interpolations.Chapter 3 roots in chen and wu's research.They construct a new univariate MQ quasi-interpolation which possesses the properties of the linear reproducing and preserving monotonicity.Their numerical results show that it possesses higher accuracy.In chaper 4,we discuss the application of the radial basis functions for numerical solving the partial differential equations:burgers'-fisher equation,in which,we give a detailed introduction for applying the MQ to solve partial differential equations. From the results of the numerical experiments given by us,we can conclude that our mathod is valid.
