This study covers diazotrophic flora of 9 cruises in China Sea Waters. This study investigates the abundance, the spatial and temporal distributions of cyanobacteria, including Trichodesmium spp.and Richelia intracellularis in the Yellow Sea,the East China Sea and the South China Sea.This study analyzes primarily the relationship between cyanobacteria and temperature, salinity, nutrition, and also describes the spatial and temporal traits of Trichodesmium thiebautii,Trichodesmium hildebrandtii, Trichodesmium erythraeum,Richelia intracellularis. The basic data provide by this study is important for further related study. The study includes 2 parts. The first part is the biomass and distribution of diazotrophic cyanobacteria in the Yellow Sea,the East China Sea and the South China Sea.This part mainly includes 4 chapters:1.The biomass and distribution of cyanobacteria in the Yellow Sea.Trichodesmium thiebautii was the Dominate species,it mainly distributed in some warmer area in the south Yellow Sea.It seems that the nutrient concentration is no correlation to cyanobacteria in this area.2.The biomass and distribution of cyanobacteria in the East China Sea:There were Trichodesmium thiebautii,Trichodesmium hildebrandtii,Trichodesmium erythraeum, Richelia intracellularis in the East China Sea,Trichodesmium thiebautii was the richest,Trichodesmium hildebrandtii was the also relative high, biomass of Trichodesmium erythraeum was low,Richelia intracellularis was the lowest. Trichodesmium biomass was higher in summer and autumn than spring, horizontal distribution of cyanobacteria was found significantly related to surface water temperature. The warmer surface water, the higher abundance of cyanobacteria. Also, cyanobacteria mainly existed in upper 50m water layer, the highest abundance appeared in surface water, and its abundance decreased in deep water layer.3.The biomass and distribution of cyanobacteria in the East China Sea:the biomass of cyanobacteria was great in the South China Sea,cyanobacteria abundance was much higher in summer than its in winter,Richelia intracellularis was prodominant in this area, its abundance was higher than that in the East China Sea,the distribution of Trichodesmium and Richelia intracellularis were related to surface water temperature and nitrate concentration, low nitrate concentration was propitious to the growth of Trichodesmium and Richelia intracellularis. The second part chiefly describes the spatial and temporal distributions of Trichodesmium thiebautii,Trichodesmium hildebrandtii,Trichodesmium erythraeum, Richelia intracellularis. This part comprises 4 sections.1.The spatial and temporal distributions of Trichodesmium thiebautii.Trichodesmium mainly distributed in the East China Sea and the South China Sea,the abundance was higher in the East China Sea than the South China Sea,and in summer and autumn than in spring and winter.2.The spatial and temporal distributions of Trichodesmium hildebrandtii.3.The spatial and temporal distributions of Trichodesmium erythraeum.4.The spatial and temporal distributions of Richelia intracellularis. Richelia intracellularis mainly appeared in the South China Sea,it always lives within Rhizosolenia and Chaetoceros cells.
