The author studied on the wetland bird community structure in Zha Long nature reserve during the period from March 2006 to 2008. The content includes the composition of wetland bird community, analysis of bird community structure, the change of species diversity, as well as the bird community structure of highway and fire area . The main results are as follows:1. 160 species were recorded, which belong to 40 families in 14 orders of them. We regard Charadriiformes species as main bird in water birds, including 25 kinds; Passeriformes species take up the absolute advantage in non-water birds, including 79 kinds. Grouped by zoogeographical fauna, 118 palaearctic species; 42 widespread species, and there is no oriental Realm species in this survey.2. The survey records 63 kinds of water birds, belonging to 12 families, 5 orders of them. The population structure of water bird shows the seasonal variation during the whole year. There is difference between different types of movement time and total time of movement. Spring migration has a significant peak, while autumn is relatively ease, no obvious peak period.3. 50 species were recorded in rode, through comparison, we found: With the increase of the vertical distance between the roads, the type and quantity of birds show an increasing trend.4. There are varying degrees of threat on the survival of wetland birds that caused by fire. From the composition of the population, there is some change between bird communities in the fire burned area and no fire area, mainly embodies in Burning and Cranes. Found that: the threat of spring burning on the birds is relatively smaller than, serious threat of fire, especially for breeding birds. Only some of the birds can take the fire area to reproduction, but the birds thatneed more nest-materials with fine nests and nest in areas with higher canopy do not select post-fire grassland to breed in the same year.
