Landscape Pattern Of Northeastern China Based On Moving Window

In this paper, the landscape patterns in northeast China were established by landscape indices and the paper also evaluated relationship between landscape characteristics, spatial patterns and environmental factors such as precipitation, temperature, altitude and human activities in northeast China, based on GIS and moving windows methods. Firstly, the landscape types of northeastern region were classified into 13 kinds of landscape types.then choose 6 class level indices and 7 landscape level indices by screening of the landscape indices. landscape indices from different levels that were calculated on base of FRAGSTATS program integration are presented.Study on landscape pattern gradient variation by calculating relevance between temperature factor> precipitation factor and landscape indices which were extracted along six 20-km interval west-east transects and another six 15-km interval south-north transects, but Altitude factor and indices should be superimposed in the overall study area. We also select Harbin and Shenyang as study area analyzing Man-made factors on the characteristics of spatial pattern. Relevant analysis use of ARCGIS spatial analysis module to calculating.The results showed that the largest proportion in northeast China is the cultivated land. the proportion of cultivated land is 25.11%,and proportion of forest landscape is smaller than cultivated land. In the forest landscape, Deciduous conifer forest and Deciduous broadleaved forest are more integrity and bigger proportion than other forest type.What as can be seen from analysis on landscape pattern of northeast china using moving window is the circle-zoning structure of landscape diversity pattern in this region, provides a buffer region for fragmented, sensitive regions, as a result, the adverse ecological consequences can be reduced or restricted to local scale. The correlation coefficients between landscape pattern and precipitation, temperature were less than 0.4, correlation coefficient between landscape pattern and altitude was less than 0.07. Correlation is not high that the heterogeneity of landscape pattern did not depend on single natural factors, the largest correlation coefficients between landscape pattern and GDP,POP is 0.58, so the human activities have major impacts on local scale in northeast china.The combination of moving window gradient analysis and landscape quantitative indices is feasible and gradient analysis can be used to make landscape indices into spatial form and visual form.
