Recently, the interdiscipline has attracted considerable attentions, and the physics about the soft matter is one of the new brightness dots among condensed matter, chemistry, materials science and life sciences. There are lots of questions should be resolved when the investigations are carried out from single-subject to multi-subject. The dynamics and entropy interactions in soft matter system are the most important ones: how the complicated and ordered structure is formed, and how they influence the growth of the matter in this system, and so on. To date, some valuable papers on the interactional rules of the entropy interaction for the colloidal congregation process were reported. Based on the research mentioned above, the depletion interactions in colloidal system under the geometrical confinement are studied through Monte Carlo simulation in this paper. Our aim is to get some new and interesting results on the entropy interactions in soft matter.This thesis consists of four chapters: In the first chapter, we present the history and progress on soft matter research, and report the motivation and method of this paper. In the second chapter, we discuss the depletion interactions in the systems of different size ratio of large- to small-sphere. Through these discussions, we found that the depletion force increase with the increase of the size ratio. Confined by geometrical factors, the depletion interactions of the systems with different size ratio of large- to small-sphere are studied in the third chapter. Our results show that, corresponding to the same size ratio and the same volume fraction, the depletion forces in the confined systems are larger than that of the unconfined systems. The second and the third chapter involve the author's original works. Finally, a brief summary and the prospects of the work are given in the fourth chapter.
