Myxomycetes are important and special group of eukaryotes. The taxonomic position of Myxomycetes in living nature was still controversy due to their life cycle which contain distinctly some features of both animal and fungus.Meawhile, the inner members of Myxomycetes were also changing gradually.Aimed to set up a taxonomic system inclining to nature, the elongation factor 1A(EF1A) gene from Myxomycetes have been amplified by PCR and sequenced in this paper.Systematic relation has been discussed by comparing and analyzing the sequence, and find more favorable evidences to solve this proplem that Myxomycetes should belong to is difficult to determine using the morphological taxonomic methods, and was to establish the base to set up a taxmonomic system inclining to nature.Elongation factor 1A of 5 samples in 4 orders of Myxomycetes were amplified by PCR and sequenced and conduct molecular systematology analysis with nine Myxomycetes sequences refer to the Genebank. The results implied that the Trichiales has closer relationship with Liceales, and they are the relative highly evolutional groups;Echinosteliales and Physarales are far from Trichiales and Liceales in phylogenetic relationship, they are the lower evolutional groups;Physarales are closer to Stemonitiales in phylogenetic relationship, between the Echinosteliales and Trichiales, and relative far from Trichiales and Liceales.Elongation factor 1A of Dictyostelium sphareocephalum obtained from isolating samples was sequenced, and molecular systematics were analyzed with the myxomycetes. The molecular systematics of Myxomycetes was the first studied. The result obtained may proved important molecular biological evidences for the studies on the origin and evolution of the slime molds. But some gropes were excluded, further researches were needed.
