This paper is according to" technique specification of xxx tank's panoramic optical periscope during using day and night ", a set of multi-function the armor vehicle' s panoramic optical sight system using day and night is designed.This optical system has four properties as follows: 1) the magnification is variable. The optical system of day light is a zoom lens having high and low magnification, the white light CCD video output also become synchronously and continuously variable; 2) the observation direction is variable at azimuth and elevation range , that 360 degrees panoramic optical vision is realized and the top reflection mirror have elevation range ; 3) the periscope's height is variable , while the top reflection mirror ascending and descending; 4) observation day or night can be immediately chosen by exchanging two optical paths day and night. Night view and day light optical system share part of the object lens, while the eyepiece sharing common system, the day light, night light and the CCD video optical systems are co-axial .In this paper and topic, the main researching and designing is at the theories and engineering: design the day light and CCD video commonage zoom lens, design night view object lens, 360 degrees panoramic optical vision is realized. By the combination optics design of each light pass, complete multi-function, multi-light pass, day and night light, panoramic optical sight system design.
