The xiaorequanzi copper mining site locates in the east of XingJiang Uighur Autonomous region, and the north side of east section of mid-Tina mountain, which was 80 kilometers far away from southeast of Tulufan city. Such a number of theories about the deposit structure and the types of formation causes are varied from geologist to geologist since it has been discovered. At the outset, many thought that the mining area is a solo-inclined with strike NW-SE and dip NE. since 1994s, more and more viewed it is a oval overturned dome structure, and in where the NW strike faults with over-thrust structure characteristic was developed, which made the crust oxidized minerals and he deeply raw ores neither could corresponding with each other well, nor interconnected smoothly. Simultaneously, there almost 6 kinds of viewpoint about the formation causes of deposit have been put forward: porphyry-type, massive sulfured igneous-type, volcanic hot flow-type, red bedding volcanic sediment-type, igneous hot flow-type, igneous hot flow sedimentation superimposing and hot flow transformed type and so forth, what the author desire to point out is that these views are not perfect absolutely though somewhat basis are existed.This paper systematically synthesized the structure surroundings of production, the characteristics of ore-contained rocks and the character of deposit geology and geophysics and geochemical, which according to the numerous meticulous studying works both in laboratory and countryside and on the basis of gathering & arrangement of research results of ancestors painstaking. Further more, the author explored the causes of deposit formation and suggested a new type through combining with the latest theories of ore-pregnant. The paper suggested that the xiaorequanzi copper mining site is a deposit in which the sedimentation of lava flow, the superimposing of hot liquid-rich and the transformation are inter-activated, and the characteristics of it are similar to that of Cu-Zn-Au type of deposit of Ashley of north of Xinjiang.
