The Study On Mineralogical And Gemological Characteristics Of Koera Amphible Jade

In recent years,the Korea Amphibole Jade appears the Chinese market.The Korea Amphibole Jade has great significance both in gem research and in commercial value as well. Based on the understanding of local regional geology,a systematic study of Korea Amphibole Jade's mineral,chemical content and gemological characteristics was conducted by the market research and modern testing methods.Korea Amphibole Jade was compared with other Amphibole Jade.According to the conditions of the Korea Amphibole Jade market,the quality of the mines was also appraised in the paper,which provides a theoretical basis to make classification standards of the quality for the related industries in the future.Through analysis under microscope,the main mineral composition of nephrite is tremolite,and its content is about 98%.Replacement remant ballistic texture is obvius under microscope and the main texture is felt-like ballistic texture.Electron microprobe analysis of tremolite shows that the chemical content of Korea Amphibole Jade is close to that of the theoretical standard.Through calculatiing the ratio of Mg/(Mg+ Fe²⁺),it shows that Korea Amphibole Jade belongs to tremolite series.By means of X-ray powder diffraction and Raman analysis,it is proved that the main mineral composition of Korea Amphibole Jade is tremolite,and its every parameter was very close to those of standard tremolite.Small quantities of calcite was included in Korea Amphibole Jade and it has a good degree of crystallinity.The quality evaluation of Korea Amphibole Jade mainly takes five factors into account,which are texture,color,gloss,originality and artistry.Based on the present material and research,it is assumed that Korea Amphibole Jade deposit is the granite and dolomitic marble of the contact metasomatic deposit,which is similar to deposit of Hetian Jade of Xin Jiang.The jade culture in China has a long history.Amphibole-Jade plays an important part in the history of the jadeware,and it is also an important foundation to identify the age of the jadeware for the archaeological study.
