In the application of remote sensing, the features of Rocks and Minerals(r. m. ) of spectrum and space distribution have the superiority to remote sensing bacause of high resolution. With the higher performances of the improved sensor, special of the spectral resolution, with the more improved the technique environment for distinguishing and extraction the Minerals information. This article depicts about using the hyperspectral remote sensing Hyperion data to do mineral mapping in Dongkunlun Nachitai. Firstly, do some research on geology about the district, thus we choose mainly alteration distric and mineral, they are pyrite alteration, chalcopyrite alteration, muscovite alteration, carbonate alteration. Using standard spectral from USGS Spectral Library, I analysis special absorbs and reflections characteristics of these alteration and minerals, to get some basic onformation in mineral mapping. The Hyperion data are influenced seriously by the atmosphere because of the height of orbit. And there is serious Swath Error and noise information, strong absorbing bands of water vapor and so on contended in Hyperion data. It is difficult to rebuild the spectral and extract the useful information. I prudentialy study the appropriate spectral Calibration method of space hyperspectral data, and compare many spectral Calibration Models, then use atmosphere radiation-based spectral Calibration Model, use the FLAASH to Calibrate Hyperion data and rebuild the spectral, throng the experiment get a good effect .Then method about mapping has been summarized throng research, referring to mineral layered identification method. Firstly, choose the endmembers using the manpower method. Analysis standard spectral, the different minerals have different spectral, the ratio of two bands could magnify this effect; of course the bands have special characteristics. So I could ascertain the approximate position of minerals, after that I collected the real spectral from Hyperion reflectance data to build a Library of given minerals. Then choose the endmembers using the auto method. With the help of MNF transform, I extracted data without too much noisy. After using PPI method, I could get characteristic endmembers, what should I do is compare the spectral of these endmenbers with real spectral extracted form Hyperion reflectance data, choose and modify them. Using Spectral Angle Mapper, Linear Spectral Unmixing and Spectral Feature Fitting methods to mapping.
