In this dissertation, the biodiversity of Beijing's Phycitinae was cleared and the phylogeny of 19 difficult phycitine species in 10 genera was analysed based on mtDNA sequances. It mainly consists of five parts: the general Part, material and methods, biodiversity of Beijing's Phycitinae, phylogeny of 19 species, and summary. In Chapter one, the taxonomic research history, including the morphology and biology of the subfamily Phycitinae was reviewed. Whereafter the experimental protocols and softwares for phylogenetic analyses were introduced in Chapter two, and the biodiversity of Beijing's Phycitinae was investigated and summarized and in Chapter three. In Chapter four, the phylogenies of some closely related genera and species in subtribes of Acrbasiina and Phycitiina. as well as the genus of Dioryctria were discussed based on mtDNA (COI+COII) gene sequences by PAUP·4.0. Finally, a general conclusion and discussion was given in Chapter five. The major achievements of this dissertation are as follows:(1) A total of 52 species in 29 genera were identified based on a careful study of 1729 dried specimens;(2) Sequences were firstly obtained for about 2.3 kb of the mitochondrial COI + COII genes from 19 species.(3) The subfamily Phycitinae is"AT"base-bias in the DNA sequences of mitochondrial genes, and transition is much lower than transversion at the first and third site codon, whereas higer at the second site codon.;(4) The 392bp COI gene sequences of Dioryctria showed that the genetic distances between geographical populations were (0.00000~0.01558), clearly less than those between species (0.02900~0.08892);(5) The genetic distances between genera within subafmily Phycitinae based mtDNA (COI+COII) gene sequences are 0.05571~0.12772. furthermore, the genetic distances between species in the same genus are 0.00221~0.08945. The tendency of genera-between distance and genera-in distance is increscent.
