With the gradual improvement of the socio-economic level,and the steady development of industrial level, the special material testing in various special environment becomes an integral part. Boron-doped diamond films have a high mechanical strength, chemical stability and good electrochemical performance, even in the high-intensity current, the electrode surface under load will not change significantly, with a wide potential window and lower electrochemical background current. This makes it a fine addition to the electrode conductivity, but also competent in the work of special circumstances. Finally, through the electrochemical treatment, certain specific material can be tested, and can fully replace the existing number of sensors, and it can use more times and more longer with higher sensitivity and higher efficiency.At present, the boron-doped diamond electrode is used only in the application of sewage treatment with a greater effectiveness. In testing period it was still in the window period. By using boron-doped diamond thin film electrode on the detection of Br- and I-, the limit is 5.3×10-7 mol/L when detects Br- in the concentration of 6.7×10-7 to 1.0×10-3, they have a good linear relationship between concentration and the peak current: I=0.0819logC+0.79 with correlation coefficient: 0.9494.When the BDD electrode is used to detect I-,the limit is 1.67×10-7nmol/L .when in the concentration of 1.3×10-6 to 1.0×10-4mol/L, they have a good linear relationship between concentration and the peak current: I=0.34 logC+3.2 with correlation coefficient: 0.9510.Next, application covalent bonding method in the environment of Formic acid, with the support of ultraviolet radiation, we succeed modified the chitosan on boron-doped diamond thin film electrode surface. Modified electrode in the detection of I-, have a better detection limit and the linear range. The detection limit is 1.2×10-8mol/L,In the concentration of 1.4×10-7 to 3.1×10-3。Modified electrode performance has been greatly improved, and also inherited the diamond electrodes excellent stability, potential window width, low current background characteristics, which also makes the electrodes are excellent reproducibility and repeatability, possession a broader application of space and better prospects.At the same time, we committed to improving the boron-doped diamond thin film electrode preparation technology and processing improvement, for better preparation of a higher quality diamond electrodes. Using hot filament CVD method, after many years of practice, under certain circumstances, we need only five hours on a good quality product. That guarantee the accuracy of the experimental results and effectiveness for the realization and has also played a great role in universal testing application.
