Bucket foundations platform is known as the "jacket foundation engineering dawn of a new era" by the international marine engineering sectors. Its bucket foundations replace the traditional pipe foundations, which in the manufacture, installation, demolition, and other aspects are very good economic benefits. Bohai Sea oilfields have a large part of the marginal oil fields, subject to the restrictions on economic development, so it not has been fully developed. Bucket foundations platform is adapted to the needs of the marginal oilfield development, but Bohai Sea have unique environment conditions, therefore, in this paper, the application issues of bucket foundations platform in Bohai Sea are studied, study include:(1) For specific environmental conditions of Bohai Sea, minimum, ice-resistant, bucket foundation, and the basis concepts of the platform to be studied. As the results, the bucket foundations platform should be single pile, added cone with minimum, ice-resistant performance in Bohai Sea. In addition, comprehensive comparison will be analysis between pipe platform and bucker foundations platform. Bucket foundations platform is more significance for marginal oilfield development.(2) As JZ20-2NW platform for example, ANSYS software will be applied to static and dynamic analysis under the platform in the bucket foundations and pipe foundations. The results show that the mechanical properties are equally under the bucker foundations and pipe foundations of JZ20-2NW platform. Meeting the safety requirements of oil development.(3) JZ9-3E riser bucket foundations has been found strong ice-induced vibration phenomenon in the 07-08 winter monitoring, and the ice-induced vibration is steady vibration. The vibration effect is compared by FEA for fixed cone and isolated cone of platform. Isolated cone is effective method to reduce ice-induced vibration.(4) Unique scouring principle and the affecting factors will be studied, the main impact factors are sea-bed movement for bucket foundations scouring. An effective method be suggested to reduce the bucket foundations scouring.Finally, the summary of full text.
