The Jinghuiqu irrigation district of Shaanxi province is a large-scale canal-well combination irrigation district, and which is also an important productive base of grain, vegetable and egg-milk in Shaanxi province. In recent years, with the rapid agricultural and industrial development, this irrigation district demanded water resource increasingly, and people over-exploited the groundwater which leads to the declining of groundwater level by a large margin and some areas engendered the regional depression cone, leading to environmental geologic problems such as water pollution, land subsidence and collapse, etc. Consequently, in order to utilize groundwater reasonably and efficiently, it needs to observe and do the research about the groundwater dynamically under the condition of exploitation, master, control and forecast the disciplines of changing, making the policies to promote what is beneficial and abolish what is harmful. This paper includes six chapters, the first chapter illustrates the research background and significance, retrospect the development and current situation of research methodology about groundwater utilization home and aboard before the 21 centuries, which introduces the research content and research framework; The second chapter mainly elaborates the physical situation, social-economic situation, the types, distribution and recharge-discharge conditions of groundwater, and the problems of utilization situation of groundwater; The third chapter is the core of this paper, which analyzes the annual changing characteristics of groundwater level from the month and season during different years by the mathematic statistic method, and test the changing trends of groundwater level year after year by the Mann-Kendall method, draw the groundwater level contour map and calculate the drainage quantity in different times for irrigation district by the Geostatistics method combining the space analysis function of ArcGis; The fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of changing groundwater level according to the irrigational abstraction quantity, precipitation and produced quantity; The fifth chapter describes the methods and principles of dynamic forecast of groundwater level, building the model of dynamic forecast of groundwater level, the fitting results are good. At last, it summarizes the above contents and put forward some suggestions for the sustainable utilization and reasonable planning for the irrigation district.
