Seismic attribute refers to those from pre-stack or post-stack seismic data, and derived through mathematical transformation of the seismic waves of the geometry, kinematics and dynamics characteristics and demographic characteristics, it is the seismic data can be described in quantitative characteristics, on behalf of the original seismic data contained in a subset of the total information can be used to analyze changes in lithology, stratigraphic inversion of subsurface structure and lithology of the parameter.This paper introduces the concept of local seismic attributes, and compare with the Hilbert transform instantaneous attributes and wavelet transform methods in order to explain the local seismic attributes in an important role in the further exploration of its seismic data analysis. In this paper, are as follows:1, Studied the method of Hilbert transform instantaneous attributes, After seismic data processing, summed up by the existence of such an approach inadequate.2, A brief introduction of wavelet transform calculate instantaneous attributes and in time-frequency domain method of calculating the instantaneous attributes,and are compared with Hilbert methods, These methods can make up for the lack of Hilbert calculated instantaneous attributes .3, introduced Shaping regularization method, and this regularization method is better than the traditional method through the examples.4,Focus on the the concept of local seismic attributes and its application in seismic data processing, compare with the Hilbert instantaneous attributes methods ,wavelet transform calculating the instantaneous attributes , time-frequency domain method calculating the instantaneous attributes through a large number of seismic data processing . More prominent the advantages of local seismic attributes in dealing with seismic data. Local seismic attributes described in the high-resolution seismic attribute extraction has broad application prospects.
