Application Research Of GIS In Spatial Location Selection

With the development of the society and the economy, the influence factors of the spatial location selection become more complex than before, fixing spatial position of the location object seems to be more and more important and difficult. Facing the new request, the former location methods show a lot of disadvantage, the development of GIS provides a kind of new technology, applying GIS to the spatial location selection displays huge advantage. This paper makes the theoretical and demonstration study of the application of GIS in spatial location selection, the whole dissertation is composed of the following five parts:1. The general theory, research and application of the spatial location selection are summarized.2. The supporting technique of this paper is GIS. The related contents and application of GIS in the spatial location selection are introduced briefly in this part.3. In this part, the theory and method of spatial location selection are systemic studied. Three influence factors of spatial location selection are put forward: the capacity, the niche characteristic and the function scope, six methods and models about the spatial location selection are summed up, at last, modeling of the spatial location selection is studied. Three basic models (the capacity factor influence model, the niche characteristic factor influence model, the function scope factor influence model) and evaluation model are set up. According to this, the solid theory foundation for the realization of spatial location selection is provided.4. Visualization is the important technique of the spatial location selection, which mainly studies the visualization of the process and result. In this part, data visualization and model visualization in the GIS are introduced.5. Based on the above theories, with the example that the choice of the artillery battlefield, the realization of the theory and method about spatial location selection is studied in this part. According to the example, the accuracy and the efficient of the above theories about spatial location selection is verified.
