The fiber-optic confocal microscopy was widely applied in the biomedical,materials science and micro-electronics testing,for its simple structure and high horizontal and vertical resolution.In this paper, achieving parallel scan imaging is the main motivation of study.The corresponding optic system were analyzed with theory and a new system was designed. The optical transfer function (OTF) of the reflective optical confocal microscopy which contained primary spherical aberration was more in-depth reseached.The fiber-optic bundle confocal microscopy which can achieved parallel scan imaging was demonstrated,based on the parallel confocal imaging theory.The crucial optical component of the system were designed by optical design software zemax.The main content as follow:Based on Fourier optics, The optical transfer function (OTF) of the reflective optical confocal microscopy which contained primary spherical aberration was more in-depth reseached from the starting point of the thin len's point spread function(PSF) and its OTF. According to the fiber-optic confocal microscopical imaging principle, combined with sampling theorem and the arrangement characteristics of microlens array,the fiber-optic bundle confocal microscopical imaging principle were studied ,and the PSF and OTF were achieved. The factors which Influenced the resolution of the system are discussed. The analyzed results would provided theory basis to design the fiber-optic bundle confocal system.According to the analyzed results,a new fiber-optic bundle confocal microscopical system,which have high resolution,simple structure ,and can achieved parallel scan imaging, was designed.The function of every optical conpenent were discussed from the overall point of view of optical system. we should select the optical element reasonably, such as: The micro-lens array, the specification of fiber-optic bundle, detector CCD and so on.They should meet the requirement of the fiber-optic bundle confocal microscopy completely.By using optical design software zemax,the coupling lens and miniature microscopy objective of the fiber-optic bundle confocal system were designed.The design results were discussed by image quality evaluation...
