Quantum information theory is the combination of quantum mechanics and information theory of 20th century, and quantum entanglement plays an essential role. Quantum teleportation and quantum dense coding are two aspects which utilize and exhibit quantum entanglement. In this paper, firstly we introduce an overview of the basic knowledge related, then turn to quantum teleportation and probabilistically controlled super-dense coding. In Chapter 3, quantum teleportations with channel being W state and cluster state are discussed. Calculations show that the success probabilities of controlled teleportation using W state, W-class state and cluster state are 2/3, 2c 2 (0 < c≤1/ 3) and 100% respectively. In Chapter 4, We discuss the schemes of probabilistically controlled dense coding utilizing GHZ-class state and cluster state as quantum channel, and discuss and analyze the average amount of the sent information.
