In this paper, we investigate the uniform compact attractors for thecoupled suspension bridge equations and the exponential attractors for thebeam equations. In section one, using a so-called Condition (C~+) introducedin [13], we study the uniformly absorbing set for the coupled suspensionbridge equations with a new class of external forces, and then prove theexistence of the uniform attractors for the family of processes correspondingto the equation. In section two, we prove the existence of the exponentialattractors for the beam equations.
