Nowadays petroleum plays an important role in economic development, impels petroleum exploration development. To ascertain the complex and deep structure underground is the emphases, and the key technology is depth domain imaging. Pre-stack depth domain imaging is regarded as one of the most effective method for its fine imaging effect, but the computational efficiency of traditional 3D methods is low.To improve this problem, plane-wave pre-stack depth migration imaging is studied. Firstly plane-wave seismic data is synthesized from spherical wave by usingτ-p transform, then wave field continuation is employed for each plane-wave, theresults are stacked, finally migrated section of plane-wave is obtained. Parallel methods are also studied, to compare the two common parallel methods.The thesis briefly introduces the seismic processing software and the utilizable process of plane-wave. By the comparison of the 3D migration results with other methods, plane-wave migration method shows good results.
