| The study area in the paper is Block Chao59 in Chaoyanggou oil-field. Block Chao59 is located in the east of Chaoyanggou oil-field. The paper focuses on the Putaohua reservoir of Yaojia Formation and the Fuyu oil layer of Quantou Formation in Lower Cretaceous.Based on the data of the geology, logging and seismic, directed by the theory of sedimentology, logging geology, reservoir geology and development geology, the favorable blocks for the exploration and development of oil-gas have been divided.The analysis process can contain several steps: Firstly, we can divide the sediment facies by the data of lithology and the logging curves. Then, we can study the distribution of the facies by drawing the connecting-well cross section and the plane facies.The results show that Putaohua reservoir formed in delta-lacustrine depositional system and Fuyu reservoir formed in meandering river facies and delta front sub-facies.Secondly, statistic results of well log interpretation of about 20 wells in exploration area show that Fuyu reservoir mainly composed of dry layers, and F I oil layer is the main reservoir in the three oil layers of Fuyu reservoir.Afterward, the reservoir types and the oil-water distribution have been analyzed as well. The result shows that Fuyu and Putaohua reservoir mainly belongs to structural reservoir which controlled by faults. The oil-water relationships are complicated in this area, on the whole, the oil layer mainly occurs in the upper and water layer mainly occurs in the lower. The oil in west is better than in the east. In Putaohua reservior, In the longitudinal direction, the oil layer occur in the lower better than the upper, on the plain,the oil layer in middle better than in the south.Lastly, the favorable zones for oil-gas accumulation in Chao59 have been predicted based on comprehensive analysis by using the petrol software.
