Baiyin ore district locates in the eastern part of North Qilian metallogenic belt, The geological environment is continental rift during mineralization period. It is characterized by copper typical of massive sulfide deposits. A lot of research work had already been done about Baiyin ore district, they have made the same understanding on geological setting, ore-forming volcanic nature of the volcanic ore bodies, ore-forming models. As the mineralization of the ore district-depth study, researchers find that mineralization have great relationship with migration of deep crustal material. So the study about Baiyin ore district's electrical characteristics of the deep crust is very useful for ore-forming mechanism.Based on magnetotelluric sounding profiles completed by China University of Geosciences Beijing, Advanced processing technology be used to edit the magnetotelluric data , and chose reasonable two-dimensional inversion algorithm on processed data, and finally get the two-dimensional model of crust-mantle electrical structure in profile-controlled region.Combined with the nature of the study area's geophysical geochemical characteristics, structural evolution, geological characteristics and other factors, to analyze model of crust-mantle electrical structure in profile-controlled region. There are three electrical layer following the surface 60 km, shallow low resistivity layer, the upper crust high resistance body, the lower crust of high conductivity layer, and the combination of rock physical properties of the electrical conductive layer analysis.Based on the study of Baiyin ore concentration electrical conductivity crust, combined with deep ore-forming mechanism, mineralization during the geological conditions, The upper crust occurs within the central section of deep low resistivity of cylindrical body has research significance. It has a channel on the electrical structure of the lower crust .The cylindrical body of the formation of low resistance may be due to major faults in the deep, and also may be a passage during the forming of ore district in the magmatism and mantle. whether it is a deep fault or the channel of magmatism, All this shows that it has a direct link with mantle materials, it played an important role during the mineralization period.
