In order to study charge transport properties of semiconductor quantum point contact (QPC) and design the sensor based on QPC, this paper, the mathematical model of transport and shot noise is made in this paper based on non-equilibrium Green's function method .This model can be used to design QPC device and research of the simulation software.Firstly, study the QPC potential distribution on the layer of two-dimensional electron gas and establish an accurate mathematical model to describe the electrostatic potential distribution. Secondly, after establish a mathematical model of QPC's transport properties i the design the algorithm and calculation processes based on non-equilibrium Green's function method, then compile programs and implement the software. Thirdly, verify the correctness and application of the model and software thorough the comparison with the experimental results and so on, then the 0.7 anomaly is observed and the effects on QPC's characteristics transport by temperature and size are analyzed and discussed to prove the usefulness and superior of the software. Application on device simulation and theoretical study is also proved. The model and simulation software of QPC's characteristics accomplished in this paper are basic works about the development of QPC practical devices, it makes a bridge between the theoretical simulation method and the design of practical devices and gives a direction to the study of QPC's new characteristics.
