The Missing And The Return Of Human "Ecological Niche"

When the world's ecological crisis is spreading, human beings are also facing with a new crisis of survival. Reflection on their own behavior, to seek solution is the immediate subject of human. Throughout the development of human history, the focus question is competition for living space, the maximization of their own interests and their position. Thus, the solution's"position"of the issue has become the key to solve survival of human.Since the 20th century niche ideas which put forward for mankind to find their own"ecological niche"provides a theoretical basis. When we read the history of"ecological niche"in ecology, we can research from the perspective of space and function. Human "ecological niche" develop the concept of niche in ecology. According to the development of human history, in order to study human "ecological niche", we are able to clearly divide the human development status into four phases: period of the original Civilization, period of agricultural civilization, period of industrial civilization and period of post-industrial civilization. Researching "ecological niche" deeply will help us understand the relationships between human and nature and between humankinds and other species, and also help us have a deep reflection on the lack of human niche and help us think consequences about humankinds missing their niche.Without the concept of human ecological niche, serious consequences will be resulted in for nature, other biological species and humankinds themselves. In order to promote harmonious relationships between human and nature, let humankinds return to the "position" of ecosystem in awareness and practice, this will help us resolve the problems on current crisis.
