Diabetes has become worldwide pandemic,but there is no cure for diabetes.Diabetes treatment mainly rely on glucose biosensors.ZnO nanomaterials have broad application prospects in biosensors due to their high Isoelectric Point(IEP),nontoxicity,electrochemical activity,biocompatibility and high electron communication features.In this paper,study on the glucose biosensing properties of ZnO nanorods,the details are listed below:(1) ZnO nanorods were grown on ITO substrate by using a hydrothermal method, studied the effect of seed layer on the growth orientation of ZnO nanorods.Fabrication of ZnO enzyme electrode by electrostatic self-assembly,and analysis electrochemical characteristics of the different growth-oriented ZnO nanorods on the enzyme electrode(2) Prepared ZnO nanorods on the polyimide(PI) flexible substrate by hydrothermal method and used as supporting matrixes for glucose oxidase(GOx) immobilization for fabrication of flexible enzyme electrode.It will provide a basis for the preparation of flexible glucose biosensors.
