In recent years, as the rapid development of China's economic construction, the demand of energy, especially that of oil and natural gas is growing. The two kinds of energy greatly promote the rapid development of China's economic and living standards greatly. So the oil industry is an important industry that related to people's livelihood and national security. China has already become the second largest country of oil consumption. Therefore, the enhanced capacity of domestic oil and gas development is important in the sense of economic and strategic.Elastic impedance inversion is one of the many inversion methods, which combines conventional acoustic impedance inversion with AVO inversion. It is a seismic inversion which uses the seismic data of different incident angle's stacking data to do the impedance inversion. So it can make full use of different offset gathers data, and the logging data such as P wave, S wave, density to inversion the parameters related to the lithology and the oil&gas-bearing properties of the reservoir. Pre-stack Elastic impedance inversion plays an important role in the lithological reservoir exploration and development, so it has great development potential and prospects.Combining with the survey, this thesis got the results of research are below:First, the basic theory of the pre-stack elastic impedance inversion of the basic theory has been studied, and this thesis also analyzed the relationship between the various elastic parameters, and comparing with the other inversion methods, the thesis got the elastic impedance inversion's advantages and its application conditions, which provides a solid theoretical basis for the follow-up research.Then, this paper analyzed the petrophysical basic theory and research rock physics parameters analysis and petrophysical modeling, and through the research above the thesis got a series of formulas of elastic parameters'fitting for the carbonate reservoir. Through the rock physical parameters'forwardness, the paper calculated S wave's velocity for each well shear velocity, density of the rock and so on. Finally, the elastic impedance inversion has been proceeded. By comparing the various attributes'well-line profile, this paper analyzed the most sensitive elastic parameters to the practical work area, and from the attributes'map of the area, the paper also analysis of the distribution range of the gas-bearing area.
