Artery is a very important component of the cardiovascular system. The pulse wave is came into being by the transmission that the blood along the arteries to the peripheral vascular. It has critical medical value of pulse wave modeling, simulation and analysis of real signals, which is also a hot and difficult problem of recent studies. Pulse wave modeling, simulating and application had been researched based on the extensive literature. First researches the left ventricle model and the dual elastic chamber model from the generation and propagation mechanism of human pulse wave. And then studies to determine the pulse wave mathematical model of the human artery system. The characteristics data of pulse wave had been obtained by the real signals analysis of the health of youth under the resting state and the derivation formula of the pulse graph area method. Besides, the parameters of the pulse wave system model had been optimized by the pulse signal simulation of the normal healthy young people in the resting state. On the basis of this model, the physiological significance of each parameter and its impact on the waveform had been researched. The simulation of the single-factor pulse signal has also been presented in this paper. Combined the pulse wave signals of the patients with gestational hypertension syndrome, the research how to produce composite pulse by the single-factor pulse had been done. Moreover, a parametric analysis of the patient with gestational hypertension syndrome had been made to make some parameter adjustment. And then some preliminary simulation about them had been done. The model results have been demonstrated preliminary that the mentioned model of the pulse wave has some practical value. On the basis of the above works, the further researches have been proposed.
