During the development of electromagnetic launch technology, high demand is asked to the pulsed power system, which provides energy to the electromagnetic launch device. The current needed by electromagnetic launch has many characteristics, such as high amplitude and short rising time. So it needs many modules of pulsed power supply to compose of a big system. At the same time, the system should be as small as possible. There are many disturbs happened in the system, which would affect discharge of system. As the background like this, this paper researchs the discharging characteristic of the pulsed power system. The main works are as follows:First of all, introduce the basic knowledge of electro-circuit. It includes the matrix form of kirchoffs law, Laplace and its application in analysis of complicated dynamic circuit, how to define the initial state of dynamic circuit and establish the matrix of electric network.Second, introduce the part of the module and their characteristics. Analyse the static and dynamic characteristics of SCR. Establish the PFN model of single module. Analyse the discharging characteristic of single module, especially in the transition process. Calculate the matching condition between pulsed power supply and load.Then, establish the model of multi-module pulsed power system. Calculate the current when modules discharge schedular and at the same time. Select 3 modules system as an example, analyse the characteristic of module discharging schedular in the pulsed power system and the load current. Find the difference between the module discharges individual and scheduler.The last, confirm that there is coupling between reactors in the adjacent modules. Analyse the influence the coupling bring to discharging. Research impact on discharging the excessively hot high power semiconductor brings. The load current is different with different schedule and the schedule woude affect the life of diodes. Analyse the discharging characteristic in time-varying load. Put forward how to change the parameter of module for short the time of transition.According the research of this paper, deeply comprehend the discharging characteristic of pulsed power system. It has a guiding significance to optimize the design of pulsed power system.
