Eastern section of Bogda orogenic belt is near the East Junggar orogenic belt. The Late Paleozoic plate tectonic evolution of the Junggar went through the ancient continental margin, rift, rift orogenic closure and post-orogenic evolution of the extension in the complex structural dynamics. Construction of this complex structure and dynamic systems which control the source of ore, the migration of ore-forming fluid, ore bodies of the spatial location and the size and distribution of deposits, and the formation of different ore-forming series, are conducive to the conversion of metal mineralization. The geological conditions of the study area and the mineralization laws were summarized in study area, through comprehensiving geological information, namely, analysising the surface geological, geochemical, geophysical, and tectonic setting of rocks and other information and the regional metallogenic background. The study area was ceded three first level potential areas:Xidi Copper (â… -1), Xidi-Shuolake (â… -2), Taersu (â… -3); two second level potential areas:Yingpanpenkete Au, Cu forecast area (â…¡-1); Yiqisayi forecast area by Au (â…¡-2); One third level potential areas:Sarekuobo-Kuolasuke Fault Cu, Au forecast area (â…¢-1). The distribution, deep extension and output state of copper points from Basike-Taersu copper and the Xidi-Shuolake Copper were discovered and confirmed. Also, the high polarizability and low resistivity anomalies what were suggested to associate with Cu (Au) sulfide, were found in southen of Yingpanpenkete granite basin.Construction of the study area more dynamic system of the conversion, post-rift magmatisms and hydrothermal activities provide ore mineralization, fluid inclusion, ore energy, from fluid transport channel and the accumulation of space to as Cu (Au) multi-metal ore mineralizaion. The Cu, Au ore deposits in epithermal (quartz vein type) are the main deposits in this area. In particular, the metallogenic specialization of bimodal volcanic rocks are from Taersu region, where there are deposits prospecting with Cu massive sulphide deposits as well as quartz veins related to the Cu, Au deposits. And there may be the Cu, Ni sulphide mineralization potential from basic-ultrabasic smashed rocks in the deep of Xidi Copper.
