Jiyuan Oilfield located in the western Ordos Basin, tectonic units belong to the Yishan slope. Through a lot of exploration and development work in 5 years, chang8 reservoir has demonstrated a hundred million ton of oil scene with 3.4×108t forecast reserves, is the next key areas and horizons of Changqing oilfield exploration and development. Based on this, the flow units research of chang8 reservoir in Jiyuan Oilfield is carried on to lay the foundation for efficient development of oil reservoirs. In this paper, based on detailed stratigraphic division, many wells of the research area are carried out the single well sequences analysis, sedimentary micro-facies lateral correlation, the evolution of sedimentary micro-facies and plane distribution characteristics, chang81 reservoir of Jiyuan oil field is thought to be meandering river delta front subfacies, and mainly develops distributary channel and mouth bar, natural levee and diverting water between the Gulf and other microfacies. According to analysis data of coring well, logging data, testing and production data, using of log interpretation under the constraints of geological conditions, logging information of 80 wells is processed and interpreted. By physical properties and reservoir heterogeneity, the reservoir characteristics and flow characteristics are evaluated. Then this paper selects porosity, permeability, flow zone index and other parameters to carry on cluster analysis, divide flow units and establish identification index system of flow units. Using flow units which can reflect the reservoir, seepage and oil-gas possibility, and combining with first test production to fit, it delineates 6 oil favorable area to provide the favorable development objectives for reserve and production increase of this area.
