As a new building structure, steel building structure has been reasonable and widely used, because of the superiority of its own steel works. Quality problems of steel structure have been the highlight, in addition to the impact of the project to install on-site factors, quality issues of the steel components in the production process are also important factors. Constitute the basis of cell manufacturing process is the production process, so in the course of a century of quality management process, quality control has been through it. In this paper, the object of study is manufacturing processes of steel component, study on process quality control.First, based on reading and analysis the theory of process quality, this paper describes the process capability index methods in the traditional process quality, comparing several commonly used process capability index, and select the applicable process capability analysis of steel projects process capability index, namely:Point value of the quality of process capability index which process quality characteristics are measured values. Then introduce several conventional control chart and the judgment-rule, selecting appropriate control chart and use it to analysis of fluctuations in steel member production process stability. Validated the use of process capability index control chart theory and practical, and draw the process of making steel member to a level of process capability, capacity assessment process adequate capacity for the process, making the process is stable.Second, this paper find out the quality problem of the steel members on the basis of visiting the construction site and inspect the steel structure accident documentation, and find out impact of quality factors by retrospective method of causal, summarized the five factors as operators, equipment, material factors, process methods, the environment. Use AHP to analyze with the weight of each factor of the influencing factors, the results known the weight of each factor, The results from the data is that operator experience, operator skill and equipment operation are the main factors, the operation personnel and equipment of choice followed by a sense of accomplishment. Then introduce control measures of the five influence factors of quality steel components.Again, this paper take the process as a whole, take into account the link quality control processes, that is deliver process quality errors. Describes sources of error transfer size, characteristics and establish delivery models, and compare several error propagation models, then analysis of specific cases, describe the process of making steel components link the various processes will be classified as a simple multi-process production system, and establish the error propagation model for further analysis and demonstration.In the end, beginning with management measures of the steel business,This paper explain from two aspects, one is the technical management measures,the other is the administrative measures.the process quality control raises from the technical level to management level, with the idea of system and management,eventually improve the quality of steel structures.
