In methods of the electromagnetic scattering analysis, MOM is the very important calculating method..Go by several tens years of development, the theory of the MOM is relatively mature. But at the time of analyzing scattering for electrically large bodies and complicated object, the ordinary MOM has some problem.For example, memory deficiency, bad calculation accuracy and long calculation time.To those shortcomings of the lower order MOM, the higher order hierarchical MOM (HHMOM) is studied on this paper.They are the keys to improve the computational efficiency, which solve the bad calculation accuracy and long calculation time. These problems depend on the geometric modeling and basis function selection and so on. At the same time, the selection of basis functions and geometric modeling is closely related. Based on the higher order MOM, it is laminated two-dimensional conductor scattering characteristics. From the results of the comparisons, The higher order geometric surface films can be flexible to approximate any surface, and geometric surface can be breached into hunger elements. This can reduce the surface element of the profile subdivision points to reduce computation and improve computational efficiency. On the side, the higher order basis functions can be simulated to model the complex current that those low order basis functions can not Although, the higher order basis functions than the lower order basis functions are much more complex, but the calculation more convenient. Comparison of results from the point of view, the higher order MOM further reduce the computation time; the accuracy is higher than the ordinary MOM.Based on patching triangulation of the higher orders hierarchical MOM, if it directly does the broadband calculation,, we must solve the matrix equation at every different frequencies point. This will inevitably lead to the rapid increase in computation. Moreover, the AWE method is an effective broad-band method. On this paper, the higher order moment method will be combined with the AWE, to resolve that the higher orders hierarchical MOM solves the long computing time of broadband problem. Comparison of results from the point of view, the new methods and higher order moment method have approximately consistent curve, and further reduce the computing time broadband, and the unit width of partition is larger than ordinary AWE, it is propitious to carry out the wide-band scattering calculations of the electrically large objects.
