At present, horizontal well has become an effective means in developing none- or low-waterflooded oil layers within the medium and large thickness in Xingshugang zone in Daqing Oilfield .Under both borehole axis and the reservoir surface being close to parallel, the horizontal well are different from the vertical wells in log response. Induction tool is always used to probe the formation resistivity with oil-based mud, so that its response can be always affected by invasion, eccentric, shoulder, thickness and so on. For its detection character, the shoulder effect and the reservoir thickness can affect induction logging seriously.Address the above issues, in this paper, using the induction log simulation software simulates the response of induction log responses, which is based on three-dimensional (3D) finite element method (FEM), distinguishes secondary and major effect factor, and establishes the main factors correction charts. Meanwhile, build the horizontal well water-flooded layer induction log interpretation charts, according to the logging data and core analysis of a horizontal well. And then, correctes it by shoulder and thickness correction charts. Sequentially, apply the corrected chart to anther two horizontal wells, we measure off water-flooded level for objective layers, according to related survey datum and accurate differentiation for layer interface. We take it as confirmation that this technique is valid through the production, and it will direct the horizontal wells interpretation in Xingshugang Zone.
