In this paper,a combination of the geochemistry,sedimentology, structural geology, petroleum geology and other theories as the guide, geological, geophysical logging and otherinformation for a comprehensive study of ways, in-depth studies in the slope of the sedimentary, structural features ect. focus on evaluating the quality of hydrocarbon source rocks and the quantity of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion in Huhehu,It has important reference value for oil and gas exploration and development in the future in this area.Huhehu depression located the east rifts of Hailar Basin, It includes the north sub-depression and the south sub-depression. The north sub-depression is extensive and gentle, structure is relatively simple, the south sub-depression is narrow and structures is complex. We analyse the structural feature of Huhehu depression, study the formation and evolution of fault and its control effect of oil and gas reservoirs and so on.We determine the mainly sedimentary system developed in cretaceous in Huhehu depression on the base of the core, well logging, logging data , supplementing by the seismic reflection character, combining regional structural features, etc.Hydrocarbon source rocks are mainly Nantun group and Damoguaihe group in the vertical in Huhehu depression, dark mudstone is opulent.The evolution of organic matter is also relatively full.Dark mudstone of Nantun group has high abundance of organic matter,types areâ…¡1 andâ…¡2 , maturity reachs maturity to over-mature stage,ihydrocarbon source rocks gets good to the best level,it predicates that the hydrocarbon source rocks have the great potential for hydrocarbon.We use a number of indicators of organic matter into hydrocarbon conversion rate to identifie the threshold and peak of the main hydrocarbon source rocks systematically. We use biomarkers and carbon isotopes in two ways to correlate subtly He2 and He9 well for crude oil and oil sands to oil-source.We carry out logging identification and evaluation of hydrocarbon source rock in the study area, establishe interpretation model hierarchically and identify the source rocks thickness of the single well. Then we apply chemical kinetics and hydrocarbon potentia method to calculate the amount of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion and resource. According to source rock type statistics, dark mudstone is the greatest contribution of the source rock types in the amount of resources, can reach 88%, followed by coal and carbonaceous mudstone in Huhehu depression.
