Scale isuue of spatial data is undoubtedly one of the most fundamental aspects of any research.Researching the landscape pattern of the different land use in the different spatial scale is helpful to know the mechanisms and processes of the land-use/land-cover change at various levels.This selection for the study Wengniute Banner of Chifeng City, under the support of French SPOT panchromatic remote sensing data,detailed data of the second national land survey and the GIS technology, combined with information collected and the field survey in the region, through the a series of remote sensing image data are processed to extract the type information of the landscape, and then take the quantitative analysis of landscape pattern in Different scales in the area through calculating landscape indices at different levels, use the method of RCC, study the variation of landscape indices in the transformation of scale in this region .The results showed that:(1) in the space scale increases the process, the relative error between area aggregate value of types of landscape and value of the vector under the RCC principle showed that the RCC method, the area's relative error in data scale transformation is very small, More detailed reflection of the small area the size effect on patch, and is randomly distributed. When the large grain size to a certain extent, the loss of accuracy has increased, the coefficient of determination of all landscape types are all very small, showing a strong randomness.(2)The landscape indices can show the changes of landscape scale the different responses of different trends in landscape index, reflecting the difference in successing original information under the RCC This selection of 10 landscape pattern indices at different levels from the analysis of landscape patterns. Landscape index with the above size (scale) increases the response curve can be divided into several scale domain. In the process of space data reduction, a small area or space scattered landscape gradually swallowed up or merged, while the landscape is showing a strong advantage.
