Nostoc commune Vauch. belongs to Cyanophyceae, Nostoc family, Nostoc genera. The kind is nutrition-rich, rich in amino acids, a large number of vitamins and a variety of metals. It is edible and used as medicine, and the resources are abundant. It has certain applications in food, medicine, agriculture and environmental monitoring, and it is more attended by scholars home and abroad in recent years.Since Nostoc commune Vauch. has high nutritional value and health care functions, the market receives very much favors, so that each place excavates excessively, not only the resources tend to the depletion, but also can cause the ecological environment to receive the serious destruction. Therefore, the artificial cultivation of their trial, the demand for people's daily life and the natural environment is very important, then the primary task of the fine selection of algae species is particularly important.Plants gradually formed an effective defensive system active oxygen damage in the long process of evolution, antioxidant enzyme is one important aspect, the subject studied different strains of Nostoc commune Vauch. on a series of antioxidant enzyme activity, aimed at screening the high resistance lines, to provide a theoretical basis for selecting an artificial cultivation of Nostoc commune Vauch..This study of antioxidant enzymes includes superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), These four enzymes separately measured different strains Nostoc commune Vauch. in the four general activity, and analyzed by SPSS 16.0 software comparison, preliminary results are as follows:1) Different strains of Nostoc commune Vauch. SOD activity is different. The highest SOD activity among the strains is Qiuqiangou, and there was significant difference compared with other strains (p<0.01). In addition to the two samples Lingchuan and Heyeping, the other strains were significant differences (p<0.05). SOD is the first line of defense in active oxygen scavenging system. It can eliminate most fundamental of superoxide anion O2-·poisoning, therefore the strongest ability of clearing O2-·is Qiuqiangou.2) Different strains of Nostoc commune Vauch. CAT activity is also different, the Heyeping strain was significantly greater than other strains. It reached the significant difference (p<0.01); In addition to Lingchuan and Changbai Moutain, the other stains are very significant different (p<0.01). CAT activity of Heyeping reached the highest, so the strain has more strong ability to clear the photorespiratory H2O2 generated in the process directly.3) Different strains of Nostoc commune Vauch. APX activity is different APX activity of Qiuqiangou strain is highest, reached 29250 U/g·min-1, it is significantly greater than other strains, and reached significant differences (p<0.01). There is no difference between Lingchuan and Changbai Mountain (p<0.05), but reached significant differences compared with the Heyeping, and reached a very significant difference (p<0.01). There is no significant difference between Ganhai and Shuozhou strains (p<0.05). APX activity is higher than other antioxidant enzymes, so it can be used as a key antioxidant enzyme in defense system of Nostoc commune Vauch..4) Different strains of Nostoc commune Vauch. GPX activity is different. GPX activity of Qiuqiangou strain was highest, reaching 345.067U/g·min-1, it is significantly greater than other strains, and all reached significant difference compared with the other five strains (p<0.01). Lingchuan, Ganhai, Shuozhou, strains'activity are not significant (p<0.05). Shuozhou, Changbaishan and Ganhai are significant, but not very significant.Overall, SOD and APX activity is relatively high, they are two more crucial antioxidant enzymes in Nostoc commune Vauch.. The result is that SOD, APX, GPX activity of Heyeping is the highest through analysis. So author think that He ye-ping has the most resistant, it can be provided a theoretical basis for selecting algae species Nostoc commune Vauch. to cultivate.
