With Digital Global Platform Spread among the people,Digital Earth begun to transform from a conceptual model into the practical applications, The popularity of Geo-spatial information greatly facilitated the public life. Buffer analysis is the field relying on the earth, putting the idea of Digital Earth into buffer analysis and building the framework for spatial analysis, the digital process of Digital Global Platform can be advanced constantly, which meets the need of analysis function of Digital Global Platform among the society, groups and individuals.The public's needs of Geo-spatial information is growing rapidly,but Digital Earth platform pay more attention to the display of geospatial data integration, and it can not do analysis working according to the actual needs of the public,the difference between supply and demand makes imperative to increase the functionality analysis on the Digital Global Platform. Because of its advanced technology, better framework digital global platform based on G/S mode has become the leader of a new generation digital global platform, and has provided a new thought to solve the problems met during digital global platform in nowadays.Aiming at the problems existed in research on analysis function of the Digital Global Platform and deficiencies of existing spatial information network service model, in this paper, a more in-depth study on buffer analysis function of Digital Global Platform based on G/S model has been conducted.In the paper the main object of the research is open source digital global platform Google Earth, the system framwork and the key technology of buffer analysis of Digital Global Platform are analyzed deeply by combining the main trend of it,and grounded on the above it, theoretical research and technology investigation of the new mode G/s are made. On the basis of G/S mode, the system framwork and technology superiority of buffer analysis function of Digital Global Platform are researched by combining the content between G/S and digital global platform.Specially, the dissertation summarizes the main results achieved in the following aspects:1. Established a framework for Spatial Analysis of spatial data.Studied of Google Earth, combined with geographical information software platform, analysis of key technologies of Spatial Analysis,based on analysis of the feasibility of Spatial Analysis of spatial data, combined with a powerful browsing function of Google Earth, and a powerful Spatial Analysis function of ArcGIS, set up the framework of Spatial Analysis of spatial data in the geology browser based on G/S model. It provided a viable platform for implementation of Spatial Analysis on geological browser.2. Implemented a functional modules of Buffer Analysis.Based on the framework for Spatial Analysis of spatial data, through the research of Google Earth API and ArcGIS Geoprocessing technology,implemented a functional modules of Buffer Analysis.It added the spatial analysis on eological browser, and provided a modeF for implementation of other Spatial Analysis on geological browser.3. Designed and implemented a geological browser based on G/S model.Based on G/S model, using C#.NET framework as the main interface of the system,using Google Earth API as the basis model for the digital earth, designed and implemented a general geological browser.
