| Ironstone is the important raw material of iron and steel industry, which quality influence the quality of smelting product directly. As the reason, how to detect the quality of ironstone quickly and precisely is very important. The application of X-ray fluorescence analysis technique in quality detecting of ironstone can be very quickly and precisely, which have been valued by researcher and worker. The thesis studyed on the application of the X-ray fluorescence analysis technique in quality detecting of ironstone, and discussed the influencing factor that made the result imprecisely. The thesis studyed on green ore, mixed ore concentrate, regrind ore concentrate and gangue. The main findings of the thesis are as follows:1) The thesis studyed on the formula of relative standard deviation and evaluated the RSD of X-ray fluorescence instrument.2) In order to detect the quality of ironstone quickly and precisely, the thesis made some experiments by 200s, 180s, 160s, 140s, 120s, 100s, 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s, 40s, 30s, 20s, 15s, 10s and 5s, which can show the best measuring time and RSD. The experiments show that the XRF instrument's best measuring time is 150s.3) In order to resolve the problem about drifting spectral line, the thesis make two spectral lines of Fe as one spectral line after studying the theories and formulas of drifting spectral line.4) The thesis get a relational graph about saturation thickness of ironstone by make some experiments. Those experiments show that the thickness of ironstone should be not less than 3mm under the pressure of 0.5MPa in order to eliminate inaccuracy.5) The thesis made some experiments under the pressure of 0MPa, 0.005MPa, 0.01MPa, 0.1MPa, 0.5MPa, 1MPa, 5MPa, 10MPa, 20MPa and 30MPa on two distinct occasions in order to hunt the relation about counting rate and pressure. Those experiments show that the R-ray fluores counting rate which influenced by pressure under the condition of that ironstone have achieved saturation thickness (about 5mm under the pressure of 0.5MPa) is less than which under the condition of that ironstone haven't achieved saturation thickness(about 2mm under the pressure of 0.5MPa).6) The thesis made a study on green ore, mixed ore concentrate, regrind ore concentrate and gangue, which compared the effects of matrix effect regulating made by method of counting rate and peak to scatter ratio. The experiments'data shows that the method of counting rate is suitable in regulating the matrix effect of ironstone.The thesis shows that X-ray fluorescence analysis technique with radio-isotope source can be used in analyzing ironstone quickly and precisely. After analyzing and regulating the influence factors of accuracy of measurement such as RSD, measuring time, saturation thickness, pressure, moisture content, X-ray fluorescence analysis technique can be applied in quality detecting of ironstone useful, which is good to the same type of X-ray fluorescence instrument applied in other field. |
