The TEM multi-purpose processing system presented in this paper is based on the existing and latest TEM interpretation methods. According to users'requirements, choosing a proper development language, this TEM processing and interpretation software, which based on the theory of equivalent conducting plane, has comfortable interface, stable performance and a lot of functions. This system can be used to detect the unfavorable geology body in the front of the tunnel and coalfield faces and get accurate imaging of it by data processing; besides, it can be also used in some other fields such as the investigation of surface metal mine, the survey of nonmetal minerals like coal, the investigation of water resources, goaf and coal mine water of old gob, realizing the goal of getting multiple parameters interpretation and accurate imaging of the detecting body.In order to take advantage of the existing programs, shorten the development cycle, this software combines the object-oriented design method with the process oriented design method. The graphical interfaces using object-oriented design method, the calculation programs using object-oriented design method, the languages used are C# and Fortran specifically, then integrate them through calling dynamic link library.This software is an integration of forward modeling an inversion of layered model, differential conductance imaging, preprocessing of collected data and traditional apparent resistivity method. Catering to the new requirements of TEM imaging system, combing with the existing interpretation software, amended and perfected through laboratory simulation and field data, this processing software is stable, operable, and it can inverse the abnormal geologic body conveniently, fast, and accurately.Firstly, this paper introduces two kinds of TEM integration methods, apparent longitudinal conductance differential imaging method and man-machine conversation computer automatic interpretation; then describes the design method of the TEM multi-purpose processing system systematically; finally, through the processing of measured data in coalfield goaf and the unfavorable geology body in front of the tunnel, we plot the maps of apparent resistivity section, differential conductance, and several space diagrams. By comparing the different maps, we show that this software has achieved the expected goal well.
