No.2 Block of Pubei oilfield belongs to delta front precipitation facie and underwater distributary channel and small sand body is the main precipitation facie, the orientation of sand body is banded from south to north, poor continuity and sandstone reservoir is low-to-moderate permeable and narrow and thin on plane. It has come into the development stage of the high water cut. The distribution of remaining oil was complicate and scattered, which was affected through-going characteristic of sand body, inefficient and invalid cycle appearance was very prominent. By studying pressure coring well, thick oil layer had a higher proportion, but displacement efficiency was low. It was an important base for taping the latent power remaining oil of thick oil layer by dissecting interior building structure, thoroughly researching heterogeneity in layer and promulgating the relationship between interior building structure and the distribution of interior remaining oil.By dissecting interior building structure of thick oil layer, to analyze the relationship between reservoir structure and the formation and distribution of remaining oil in the paper. Six division scheme of reservoir structure was summed up and launched the research of space structure. Some thick sand body was folded by multiple phase river course and layer structure was complicate about P I oil layer in the vertical and nonsynchronous river course was divided by structural plane of the bottom of river course. Some fissile sand body was made up by multiple phase river course. Corresponding potential Strategies was proposed, based on neogenic means and the pattern of remaining oil of thick oil layer, and acquired approved potential effects. The research outcome has some guidance for other oil fields.
