As a very important technique about regulating and disentombing potential of old oilfieds, deliverability constructing of new oilfields, achieving few wells high exploitation, multilateral well drilling technique has widely extended and applied. It has bigger predominance than unipivot well. Herrinbone multilateral well, which is a especial multilateral well, is the same with exploiting peculiar reservoir effectively, so the herrinbone multilateral well technique play an important role in the sustainable development of Daqing oilfield. The paper is under the study of technique theory in the herrinbone multilateral well path controlling, drilling fluid, the well completion, cementing well technique. By way of researching geological reservoir of Gao 21 block, using drilling design of herrinbone multilateral well exploit fault block oil reservoir, and researched level segment length and level branch amount were studied, then the best development plan was designed. Traversing the well path of herrinbone multilateral well, then design landing point accurately, adopt pending sidetrack drilling to ensure that the branch shoot successfully. It was takeout and adjusted by using advanced MWD and LWD to make sure path control successfully. Optimising the advantaged bore frame and well completion system, the drilling of the herrinbone multilateral well successfully was confirmed, then the demand of the latter development was satisfied. The successful drilling of Gao8-33-PlZ well indicates that the technology of drilling and exploitation has gone ahead in Daqing oilfield, and the technology of multilateral well will play a significant role in inproving the effect of surplus oil and low permeability field in Daqing oilfield at the same time. The multilateral well technology will have the wide application prospect in Daqing oilfield.
