The mineral resources were the basis for human existence and development. The mineral resources exploration, prospecting and capacity level is an important symbol of human social progress. With the continuous development of human being and the rapid progress of society, the exploration technology of remote sensing which based on the rocks and ores hyperspectral data measurement and signature analysis has become an important technology of geology and mineral resources prospecting. The measurement work was a strict and tricky work, which was restricted by a lot of complex factors. The analysis of rocks and ores was the key link of mineralization information extraction of remote sensing. And they had important and practical significance on mineral resources prospecting of remote sensing geology and application.This paper chose the East Kunlun of north Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as its research area, combined with the influence factors of rocks and ores hyperspectral data measurement and the characteristics of ASD FieldSpec 3 portable spectrometer. It elaborated the basic flow and operation methods of ASD FieldSpec 3 portable spectrometer, the measurement methods and measurement scheme of rocks and ores hyperspectral data, and the main problems and its solutions during the rocks and ores hyperspectral data measurement process. Combined with the Surface features hyperspectral signature and the causative mechanisms of rocks and ores hyperspectral, it analysed the rocks and ores hpperspectral signature of East Kunlun deeply and summarized the typical hyperspectral signature of the main rocks and ores of the research area at the same time.The main conclusions and understanding of this paper as follows:(1) ASD FieldSpec 3 portable spectrometer had significant advantages over hyperspectral measurement of rocks and ores. It also had advantages of being convenient to carry, being easy to operate, fast speed, reliability and powerful software. It is suitable for hyperspectral measurement of rocks and ores, which saved labor and time with high efficient, etc. According to the effect factors which restricted the hyperspectral measurement of rocks and ores, and the characteristics of the research area, it drew up rationalization schemes of hyperspectral measurement of rocks and ores, which was good for the research area. It also selected the measurement methods which was good for the research area at the same time.(2) It carried out the work (indoor and outside) of hyperspectral measurement of rocks and ores based on measurement schemes and methods of the research area. It also elaborated the basic flow of rocks and ores of the research which provided scientific knowledge for the further research and hyperspectral signature analysis. It deeply analysed and summarized the typical hyperspectral signature of the main rocks and ores of the research area, which laid a solid foundation for the future research.(3) The reflectance curve of ocher of the research area was very smooth. There were no obvious reflection peak and the absorption valley, and it showed out the absorption signature as a whole. Because of the effect of the ocher whose reflection rate was powerful, the hyperspectral reflection rate of the most rocks and ores was increased significantly, and the reflection characteristic was enhanced significantly, except for the subtle change of the reflection and absorption characteristics in several wave bands, and the rangeability was very little. Because of the water incursion, the hyperspectral reflection rate of the most rocks and ores of the research was reduced significantly, except for the subtle change of the reflection and absorption characteristics in several wave bands, but its trend was nearly no-refundable, and it almost paralleled with the original cure.(4) The measurement work was a strict and tricky work, which was restricted by a lot of complex factors. Without basis of fully analysis and consideration on the complex factors which restricted the hyperspectral measurement of rocks and ores, adjusting to measures local conditions, the hyperspectral measurement work of rocks and ores could not acquire good effect.
