Seismic rock physics is a emergent techmology used to identify the reservoir lithology and general geology, link rock physics and seismic exploration, emerging technologies, quantitative describe the relationship between the rock , oil and gas. Experimental measurements of core and conduct seismic rock physics, understanding of rock structures and the relationship between seismic velocity, seismic wave propagation characteristics and understanding of the reservoir parameters of the physical links to improve reservoir lithology parameters on the seismic wave field effect understanding of the seismic interpretation determine lithology, identification of oil-water layer, determine the theoretical foundation rock interface.Carbonate is the important exploration targets of increasing the oil and gas reserves in current,therefore, the study of carbonate rock physics and reservoir identification is necessary. This article has taken the carbonate rocks as the main object of study, carried out the following researches, and obtained the important understanding:First, it introduced the system of taking samples of carbonate rocks, MTS rock physical test system and the basic principles of rock properties and acoustic parameters of the measurement method. Physical properties of rock and acoustic parameters of the test , for identification of the reservoir to provide basic parameters .Secondly, taken the rock physics laboratory test data as the main object of study, analysis the affection of the temperature and pressure on carbonate velocity, established the mathematical model among the velocities and the temperature or pressure. The establishment ofρ=aVbdensity - velocity basic mathematical model correct the Gardner equation, and obtained the speed and density of carbonate saturation region empirical relation,it is more suitable for the carbonate. The introduction of vertical and horizontal wave impedance and the establishment of the relationship between speed and impedance made a great improving of the similarity relation of speed and density fitting result.Thirdly, the author has summarized the implementation procedure of fluid substitution which based on effective medium theory and Biot-Gassmann theory. To the actual log data,carried on the fluid substitution of water to gas, analysis of changes in fluid saturation density, velocity, and bulk modulus, Young's modulus, Lame coefficient and Poisson's Ratio for the identification of reservoir a basis.Finally, a series of fluid identification factors were summarized., the sensitivity of individual fluid identification factor on the carbonate saturation was analyzed,and the sensitive factors to identify gas and water were optimized; Combination of fluid-sensitive recognition factor for the identification of new factors, the actual information on property inversion analysis, identify obvious effect;made use of quantitative cross plot technique to get the fluid attribute-paris sensible to identify gas and water or oil and water. In addition, applying the achievement of the analysis of fluid identification factors'sensitivity in the actual log information, had the good result.
