XiJi County Xijiawan Landslide is formed during the earthquake HaiYuan large seismic loess landslide; its volume reached 3.6 million m3.HaiYuan earthquake in the region, a number of large-scale earthquake induced landslides,causing heavy casualties and huge property losses.Conduct the system research to this area earthquake landslide's formation mechanism and the stability, not only has the important theory and the practical significance to the XiJi County geology disaster risk appraisal and the control program, and has provided the model for the loess area's earthquake landslide research.This article in has carried on the close investigation foundation to the XiJi County geology disaster, uses methods and so on scene reconnaissance, laboratory test, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, has conducted system's research to the Xijiawan landslide's formation mechanism and the stability.First of all, calculated seismic subsidence and liquefaction potential analysis according to the characteristics of landslide, the results show that the loess in the study area has a strong seismic subsidence potential, and have the possibility of liquefaction in case of earthquake. Then use the GEO-SLOPE software calculate before sliding slope stability under earthquake, the result show that the slope is instability when the seismic intensity is X degrees.Use QUAKE/W to the slope in the seismic force and deformation under the simulated conditions. By analyzing the results obtained in central and upper slope influenced by earthquake, little effect on the foot of the earthquake. Finally empirical formula and fitting formulas to estimate the sliding distance, empirical formula and the actual value of the estimated results vary greatly and landslides in the region parameter fitting using the formula derived from estimated results and the actual value is nearer.Based on the above analysis, summarized the formation mechanism of the landslide under earthquake seismic subsidence-liquefaction complex mechanism. On the basis of the summary of landslide mechanism, using the limit equilibrium method the stability of the landslide is calculated under different operating conditions.When calculating the parameters of the peak intensity by the landslide in the degree of seismic intensity isâ…¨under the action of an unstable state.When calculating the residual strength parameters used the landslide in intensity as the degreeâ…§already under earthquake instability. Landslide stability in the factors affecting the sensitivity analysis shows that the earthquake is the greatest impact on the stability of landslide, soil internal friction angle of the second.
