With the development of molecular biology, DNA fingerprint technology came out. DNA fingerprint is a kind of electrophoresis pattern which can reflect differences between two DNA in molecular level, just like the fingerprint of human beings which can make distinguishing between two people, so DNA fingerprinting is the most advanced species identification technology, and it is widely used in many fields, such as confirming of kinship, diagnoses of hereditary disease, identification of species, etc.But analyzing DNA fingerprint manually can not meet the need of large data analysis in scientific research work nowadays, because there exist two big problems:low rate and low accuracy. So computer aided automatic analysis system is desired, in order to achieve a high accurate result quickly.There are many DNA fingerprint analysis technology such as RFLP, RAPD, AFLP, SSR. Among these, RFLP(Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism) is the earliest emerged and most widely used one. This article puts forward a DNA fingerprint automatic analysis system by which we can analyze two types of DNA fingerprint data——DNA base sequences and DNA fingerprint patterm pictures. Key techniques in the system will be illustrated in this article, including enzyme digestion of DNA base sequences, comparation of fingerprint feature values, comparation of fingerprint patterns, building of similarity matrix, clusting of DNA and buiding of phylogenetic tree.Based on the key techniques above, we designed and realized a DNA fingerprint analysis software. Trough tests, it proves good results. The running results of each module in the software will be shown in each chapters.
