This paper abstracted controlling factors by reasch on karst and alteration caused by different types of hydrothermal activities and the connections with reservoir, Summarize the reserior formation prediction and spatial distribution regularities by bits and pieces of geologic phenomenon and the summing-up of experience. Aim to provide evidence of genetic type and the genesis of reservoir and reserior formation prediction and to lend a fresh perspective to realize the spatial distribution regularities of Carbonate in Ordovician in the center of Tarim Basin.Based on Petrologic and geochemical methods, isotope tracing techniques and trace element, discuss the field geological phenomena of hydrothermal dolomite and hydrothermal leaching limestone associated with hydrothermal dolomite, summarize mineral petrologic and geochemical characteristics of hydrothermal product or leacheate in the Ordovician carbonate rocks, discuss the origin and nature of hydrothermal fluids, Identified four types of mineral assemblages from the view of hydrothermal mineral symbiotic relationship and hydrothermal active stages.Observing and analyzing thin sections and cores of wells having hydrothermal alteration, based on awareness and understanding of hydrothermal alteration in the fild section, combined with the actual exploration of ZG8 to ZG15 block, predict reservoir and controlling factors of hydrothermal carbonate Reservoirs in Tarim Basin, propose a model of hydrothermal carbonate reservoirs, Pointed out the favorable facts of hydrothermal-realated reservoirs development and the horizon of hydrothermal Karst carbonate reservoir.
